Inline GPS Amplifiers

The LA-12F (TNC connectors) and LA-12FN ('N' type connectors) are inline GPS amplifiers which allow extension of the GPS antenna cable. Depending upon the type of cable, 50 to 200 feet of additional cable may be added per amplifier. When using more than one amplifier, we recommend the use of the ES-AB1A GPS Amplifier Power Supply between the Master Clock and the amplifier chain. The LA-12F is intended for use with TNC RG-58 type cables while the LA-12FN is intended for lower loss RG-8/RG-213/Belden 9913 type cables using "N" connectors. Typical cable extension lengths are:

RG-58: 50'
RG-8/RG-213: 100'
Belden 9913: 200'
