The ES-277U is a family of Video Character Inserters which read IRIG-B Time Code. Units are available in One, Two, Three, Four or Five video channel configurations. The video is looped thru the pair of BNC connectors. Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds and Milliseconds are inserted onto each video stream. A GPS option is also available, which replaces the internal IRIG-B Time Code Reader with a GPS receiver, assuring the ultimate in time accuracy.

On-screen menus allow adjustment of the display Size and Position, Mask Mode (black background on/off and transparent or solid display) and Display Mode (Milliseconds On/Off). The brightness of the Characters and Background may be individually set via rear screwdriver accessible controls. The RS-232 interface & Windows® Control Panel software allow remote control of the display modes.
