The purpose of the ES-225A is to interface and synchronize a computer, a voice recorder or other
equipment that accepts ASCII with a Master Clock or Master Timer (that has an ESE Time Code
output). Master Clocks not equipped with an ESE Time Code output may be interfaced to a
computer, etc. by using a different ESE Time Code Converter (e.g. SMPTE into ASCII, IRIG into
ASCII, etc.).
