The ES-172U/174U is a low-cost clock for applications not requiring GPS or temperature
controlled stability. The ES-172U/174U uses the AC line-frequency as a time reference or,
optionally, a quartz crystal timebase may be specified. Fast, Slow and Hold control inputs
are accessible on the rear connector. Front-panel control switches are available as an option.
